Charly B is exposed to reggae at the age of 15, during more than one year spent in Jamaica as an exchange student. Overall, he has spent more than 3 years in the "Reggae Island". He sings in Jamaican, but also in his mother tongue, French.

2002-2007 : WINNER OF THE FIRST PRICE FOR BEST SINGER/SINGJAY OF GENEVA (Reggae contest organized BY DJ Postman) - 3 month tour in France with Redhemption Sound, tour which ends at the Jamaican Sunrise Festival (Bagnole-sur-Cèze, France) - In 2004, 2 albums released : "REALITY" (11 TITLES) and "MORE REALITY" (12 TITLES) - [abstracts on www.charlyb.com] - In 2005 : Recording of a featuring: "Bruk out", with the Jamaican singer Zumjay and of "La plus belle femme" - video clip plays on TVM3 (cabled TV). In June 2005, WINNER OF THE FIRST PRIZE FOR BEST SINGER/SINGJAY FOR SWITZERLAND (Reggae Swiss Singjay Contest - Giddeon Production) - August 2005 : Recordings in Jamaica for his next album, with the musicians of Black Uhuru : (Freddy Fat String : Guitar / Barry O.. Hare ..board). 2 songs produced by Vision I Production (Jamaican 45T Production) - November 2005 : First part of French singer Michel Fugain for the opening concert of the Competition "Star de demain" in Geneva (Palexpo) - January 2006 : Album "Family Affair" is issued, album produced by Redhemption Sound Production. Album featuring Wakad Don Jahbazz, singer from Martinica. In 2007, Charly B is asked to present a song at the EUROVISION 2007 for Switzerland with the song "O Mama". Official is the original band of Charly.B and they start touring more and more. This is a live band composed by Jo, Meditate (Straight Sound) Positive (Unity Sound) Beber and Franklin(6).

2008 : Several shows with international Jamaican artists such as Alpheus, Kiprich; tour with Zumjay and Alozade. 3 albums are on the way in the studios: 1 feat Henry P - 1 solo album produced and co-ordinated by Riga - and the 2nd part of Family Affair that will be produced by Babakar Fall from Redhemption Sound.
